Responses of potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) varieties to NPK fertilization on tuber yield in the Southeast of Kazakhstan

In this study, field experiment was conducted to assess the effect of different doses NPK on tuber yield potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) varieties such as Inovator, Gala, Aladin and Tyanshansky in foothill zone southeast Kazakhstan. Five combinations with control were studied. Results revealed that fertilizer application increased total yield, longest plant, number main stem, leaves plant average significantly over control. The highest obtained when 25% more than recommended dose manure applied at all varieties. variety yielded higher other tested same time experiment.
